Job Summary

The ideal candidate is a customer-service oriented individual with a strong desire to learn. The ability to hold a conversation and instill confidence in our guests is an absolute must. Lumberjack Feud Adventure Park is looking for individuals with a professional, positive attitude, that enjoy working outdoors.

Job Duties

  • Greet customers upon arrival
  • Engage in friendly conversation with customers
  • Equip customers with proper safety equipment
  • Instruct customers on course safety equipment and course safety policies
  • Gain trust of customers through expertise, personality, and professionalism
  • Lead participants through one of multiple activities guiding them on how to safely participate
  • Help customers overcome fear of heights through positive encouragement
  • Promote camaraderie among participants
  • May answer questions regarding price and requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness of facilities inside and outside
  • May maintain premises, i.e. watering, staining, trail clean up, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Positive attitude
  • Professional
  • Ability to consistently communicate with customers
  • Ability to naturally command the attention of a group of 10-12 people
  • Ability to make a good first impression and instill confidence in others as a safe tour guide
  • Ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and with considerable personality differences in order to meet their needs
  • Safety minded
  • Enjoys working outdoors
  • Ability to stand for a long period of time and generally fit enough to instill confidence in customers that they will be taken care of in this potentially dangerous activity
